MetroAEG

MetroAEG

Formed in 2008, MetroAEG is a 501(c)3 charitable organization serving the youth and young adults of Long Island's communities. Its board is comprised of successful businessmen and women, teachers and professionals who are dedicated to "giving back" to communities. We do so by nurturing for them the very same performing arts opportunities which we, ourselves, were fortunate to have been able to take advantage of, growing up here on Long Island.

in difficult financial times, often the first casualties are youth, who slowly lose access to educational, arts-based, extracurricular opportunities - experiences which build character, enrich our culture and foster the development of the positive, creative, productive and well-rounded adults of tomorrow. We believe the performing arts are among the essential building blocks of society and to that end, MetroAEG is firmly focused on preserving young Americans' access to the arts.

As you are no doubt aware, funding and services are hard to come by. But they are still desperately needed.

Mission Statement

The goal of the Metropolitan Arts & Education Group is to enrich the lives of citizens of our communities by providing wholesome, arts-based, performance and educational opportunities to all involved, regardless of racial, gender or socio-economic background. MetroAEG is dedicated to facilitating access to the arts, and to providing youth and young adults with activities that instill pride, teamwork, motivation, leadership, self esteem and values that are carried back into the community in which they reside.
